Your Session Experience
Every session begins with a story.
My goal is to capture your dog in a way that feels real and true to who they are in a place they enjoy — whether that be romping on the beach, a quiet forest trail, or a mountain top. If your dog won't naturally pose in front of the camera, that's ok! Some of the best pictures come from those that are candid.
Before your session, we will discuss your dog's favourite places, their quirks, and what they love (and don't!).
This will help in planning your session. I take into account the season, light, weather, and more. If your dog hates the rain, let's plan for a drier month.
Signature Session
Tailored to your dog in a location that makes them shine.
From a trail adventure to the city, wildflower filled meadows or the beach, I am happy to adventure to your favourite spot, or take you to one of mine.
Session Includes:
- 60-90 minutes on location
- 7 fully edited, high-resolution digital images ready for print/sharing
- Up to 2 dogs from the same family (+$25 per additional dog)
- A proofing gallery where you’ll choose your favourite images with the opportunity to purchase additional images
Travel within 35 km of Cloverdale is included.
Returning clients receive 10% off.

Litter Packages
A fun, puppy-safe photo series designed for breeders who want to capture memories before puppies go to their forever homes.
These sessions take place in the comfort of the breeders home or another safe, familiar space.
Session Includes:
- 2 hours on location
- 12 fully edited, high-resolution images
- Extra images available for purchase
- Travel outside 35 km: $1/km
- Optional: stacked images
These are great to include in puppy go-home packages! I recommend booking these sessions at 6-8 weeks of age, and (depending on breed and time of year) are weather dependant.

Golden Hearts Session
Inspired by my own dog Chance and created for dogs who are nearing the end of their life or have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. These sessions are held with gentleness, patience, and deep compassion — honouring the love, loyalty, and bond you’ve shared through the years.
My goal is to create a peaceful space where we can capture these precious memories.

FAQ
Do you travel for photoshoots?
Most sessions take place around the Lower Mainland of BC — but I’m always up for an adventure. Travel within 35 km of Cloverdale is included; anything beyond that may incur a travel fee. I also make it out to the East Kootenays once or twice a year and love planning sessions while I’m there. Have a favourite spot in mind? Let’s talk about it!
Will you work with nervous, reactive, or fearful dogs?
Absolutely. I have plenty of experience working with nervous, fearful, and reactive dogs. While Ridgebacks are my breed, I’ve spent more than 17 years working with a wide range of dogs — from shelter rescues to my own reactive girl, Gemma — each with their own quirks and comfort levels.
Every session is built entirely around your dog’s needs — from location to giving them the time and space to settle in. My approach is calm, patient, and flexible so your dog feels safe, relaxed, and understood. Their well-being always comes first!
What if my dog can't be off leash?
Not a problem at all! I always bring a thin leash (with 10, 15 or 30 foot options) which is easy to edit out. If your dog has difficulty interacting with other dogs (or people!) please let me know in advance so we can take that into account when choosing a location.
What should I bring to a photo shoot?
Please bring high value treats and/or toys as well as a leash.
How long does it take to receive photos?
You’ll receive a private online proofing gallery within 7 days of the session. I will include a few fully edited previews so you can see how the final photos will look. From there, you’ll select your favourites. The full gallery will be delivered within 2-4 weeks.
Can I reschedule my session?
Yes. If you need to reschedule a booked session, please contact me at info@reddogphotography.com
If you’re within 48 hours of your session, a rescheduling or cancellation fee will apply. This helps cover the time that can no longer be offered to another client.
If severe weather becomes a factor, there’s no rescheduling fee — we’ll simply find a new date that works. In general, sessions move forward rain, shine or snow, and truly adds to each sessions own magic.
Will you hike in for a session?
Yes! This is one of my favourite ways to get pictures of your dog doing what they love most. Let me know where you have in mind and let's make your dream come true!
Do you host mini sessions?
